(Joined 2018)
Moving through different roles in the workshop has been a constant learning journey that has strengthened both my skills and my confidence.
I moved to Finland in 2014 and joined Kalmar in 2018. My first days were overwhelming — even though I had studied Finnish, working fully in the language was challenging. What made the difference was my team. I was welcomed with openness and support, and from day one, I started learning not just my role, but Kalmar’s strong work ethic and safety culture.
Over the years, I’ve worked in several roles across the workshop. From mechanical assembly to electrical work on hybrid frames and battery connections, and later in final assembly and shipping. Each step taught me something new.
Working with hybrid systems made me truly understand the importance of accuracy, care and following safety rules. In our environment, there’s no room for shortcuts. Safety protects all of us.
Today, I work as a backup across different stages of production, stepping in wherever needed to keep the line running smoothly. After more than seven years, I’m proud of the skills I’ve built — and even more proud to be part of a team where safety, respect and support come first.
I’m happy to be a Kalmarian.
